Raquel C. Ferrazzano de Solvey, MD, ND, completed her basic EMDR training in 1993. She became the one of the first Spanish speaking trainers, and with her husband, Pablo Solvey, MD, introduced EMDR in Argentina and in Latin America. She is in private practice specializing in adults, adolescents and children, in trauma, dissociative disorders and anxiety disorders. Hypnotherapist - former member of the IPA (International Psychoanalytic Assoc). Has presented papers about psychotherapy and EMDR at several International Conferences. Coauthor of the first EMDR book written in Spanish, TRAUMA and EMDR, and coauthor of a two volume book, Terapias de Avanzada. Fluent in Spanish and English. Co-founder and former president of EMDRIA Latinoamerica, a non profit Organization in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that brings together EMDR practitioners from all Latin America. In 2011, Dr Ferrazzano de Solvey was awarded the title of Honorary Professor in the Psychology College of the Senor de Sipan University, Chiclayo, Peru.
