BOOK DESCRIPTION: This book is the first for the utilization of EMDR with war and terrorism survivors. The EMDR method is reviewed and is built on to prepare the reader for working with war and terrorism clients, including the nature of war and terrorism trauma, the experience of EMDR from both a client and a therapist perspective, particular issues and opportunities when the eight-phase EMDR treatment protocol is used with these clients, the use of EMDR in a crisis intervention environment, working with children, and special issues including grief, guilt, and anger.
